- Application of general terms and conditions
1.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, reservation requests and agreements concluded with camping Val d'Or and relating to camping pitches and accommodations rented by camping Val d'Or.
1.2 Camping Val d'Or has the right to amend the following general terms and conditions at any time with or without notice. The latest version of the general terms and conditions can be found on our website www.valdor.lu.
1.3 Camping Val d'Or expressly rejects the application of other general terms and conditions.
1.4 Exceptions to these General Terms and Conditions are only possible if the parties have agreed on them in writing.
- Reservations
2.1 Camping Val d'Or only processes reservations made by persons who are 18 years of age or older. The responsible adult must be present on the campsite during the stay of alle the guest who are younger then 18 years old.
2.2 The agreement is concluded after both parties act as followed : the campsite, we, have confirmed your reservation by a confirmation-email. The client completes the reservation and check out on our internetsite or by phonecall with the campsite, and thereby agrees an undertaking to pay the deposit amount, non-refundable, see art. 2.3. Your wishes according to your stay and available facilities will be taken into account as much as possible, when you are making your booking.
2.3 Preference: If you book a pitch or accommodation without preference, Camping Val d`Or has the opportunity to change your pitch number or accommodation number, whereby the type of camping pitch or accommodation type remains unchanged. If you have indicated a preference for a specific number and have paid the preference costs, Camping Val d`Or cannot change your pitch or accommodation number.
2.4 Payment: After the booking confirmation, the renter will make a deposit of 40% to camping Val d'Or within 4 weeks on account number:

This deposit is non-refundable. You must take care of the necessary and optional insurances yourself (such as cancellation insurance, health insurance and travel-insurance).
2.5 Eight weeks before the arrival date, the tenant must have paid the remaining payment of 60% to the indicated account number (art. 2.3). If this is not done after a reminder from camping Val d'Or, and no check-in has taken place on the day of arrival of the relevant tenant, camping Val d'Or considers this as a cancellation on the starting date of the agreement.
2.6 In case of cancellation, the tenant owes the following cancellation costs:
In case of cancellation after booking: 30% of the rent (the deposit).
In case of cancellation up to 4 weeks before the arrival day: 50% of the rent.
In case of cancellation up to 1 to 4 weeks before the arrival day: 90% of the rent
In case of cancellation within one week before the arrival day: the entire rent.
In case of cancellation on / after the commencement date: the entire rent
You must take care of the necessary insurance yourself.
2.7 I case of a cancellation - for example, if you have already paid 100% for your holiday and there is a cancellation- the campsite will pay you a refund-amount. The total amount minus cancellation costs, as written in 2.6) will then be refunded. Refunds will be paid within 14 days to the guest's bank account number known to us.
2.8 If you make a reservation at another website, you have concluded an agreement with an other booking- channel than ours. We have no influence in the proces of your cancellation or possible refund. For cancellation and possible refund, you must contact this channel yourself. We can not
2.9 Bringing one car is included in the reservation. For an extra car you pay € 2.50 per night.
2.10 The reserved place/accommodation will remain reserved for you until 19:00 on the day of arrival. If you have not arrived at that time, and no message has been given to our campsite, your reservation will be cancelled and no refund will be given.
2.11 The maximum number of people allowed is 8 per camping pitch. A small tent is allowed. A small tent is a tent with two sleeping places with an area of no more than 5m2.
- Check in/out
3.1 Check-in is possible from 15:00 to 20:00. Upon arrival, guests are required to present their passport or identity card. Camping pitches and accommodations are available from 15:00 on the day of arrival. If you wish to check in earlier or check out later, this can only be done in consultation and at an additional cost of € 15 euros.
3.2 The places are allocated by the staff, or is confirmed by e-mail by making a reservation. Change of location is only permitted after consultation with and permission of the staff.
3.3 On the day of departure you have until 10:00 am to leave your pitch or accommodation free and clean.
3.4 Camping Val d'Or reserves the right to carry out a final inspection on the departure date from 9:30 am, related to the condition and completeness of the camping pitch or accommodation you rent.
3.5 If the accommodation is not left clean or in an orderly state, € 40 will be charged.
3.6 In the event of a later arrival or an earlier departure, no refund will be given on the rental price and additional costs of the camping pitch or accommodation.
- Visitors
4.1 Receiving day visitors is permitted between 08:00 and 22:00. Visitors must be registered at the reception one day in advance. If the visitors stay overnight, the visitors must report to the reception on the day of arrival, and pay the cost price for the overnight stay.
- Rules of conduct
5.1 On our campsite there is a maximum speed of 5 km per hour.
5.2 From 22:00 to 08:00 all activities are prohibited, which may disturb the peace of our
guests. This includes: driving at camping Val d'Or with a car or motor vehicle, turning on music and TV, talking loudly, depositing glass in containers, etc.
5.3 Adults are responsible for the conduct of children entrusted to them. They must not disturb the peace and safety of the other guests at camping Val d'Or.
5.4 Barbecuing is allowed. Always use an object to set up the barbecue so that the soil and grass cannot be damaged.
5.5 Be extremely careful with fire. Never throw away a burning match or cigarette. Lighting an open fire is prohibited.
5.6 It is forbidden to smoke in our public areas and accommodations.
5.7 The tap water at camping Val d'Or is of drinkable quality. The use of our tap water is not intended for play purposes; use the river Clèrve for this.
5.8 In the event of a fire or other serious calamities; first alert the emergency services (call 112). Police (call 113). Fire extinguishing equipment is available, see the lampposts. Then report the fire or calamity directly to the reception. Owner and BHV can always be reached via: 00352-920691.
5.9 Camping Val d'Or reserves the right to make changes to the layout and opening hours of the facilities of camping Val d'Or.
- Premature termination of the agreement by the owner
6.1 In the event of non-compliance with the regulations/rules of conduct, the tenant, with his entire family or composition of the group, is requested to leave camping Val d'Or. The owner can terminate the agreement with immediate effect:
-If the tenant, co-tenant(s) and/or third parties do not or not properly comply with the obligations under the agreement, the camping regulations and/or government regulations, despite prior oral and/or written warning, and to such an extent that, according to the standards of reasonableness and fairness of the owner, it cannot be required that the agreement be continued.
- If the tenant, co-tenant(s) despite prior verbal and / or written warning causes nuisance to the owner and / or co-tenant (s) and / or other tenants at camping Val d'Or, or disturbs the safety or good atmosphere on or in the immediate vicinity of camping Val d'Or.
- If the tenant, despite prior verbal and / or written warning by using the accommodation or camping pitch and / or his camping equipment, acts contrary to the destination of the site.
- If the tenant's camping equipment does not meet the generally recognized safety standards.
- Theft, vandalism, aggressive behavior and drug use are among other reasons for direct removal of the tenant, with his entire family or composition of the party, from camping Val d'Or.
6.2 In the event of premature termination of the agreement, the tenant must ensure that his place and / or camping equipment has been vacated and the site has been left as soon as possible, but no later than 4 hours after the termination.
6.3 If the tenant fails to vacate the accommodation or camping pitch within the set 4 hours (article 6.2), the owner is entitled to do this at the expense of the tenant. The owner is not liable for damage resulting from or related to the evacuation of the accommodation or camping pitch, unless the damage has arisen due to carelessness on the part of the owner. Any storage costs of the vacated property of the tenant are for the account of the tenant.
6.4 If the lessee is of the opinion that the owner has wrongly
terminated the agreement, he/she must immediately inform the owner of this
and he/she may submit the dispute to the
civil court in Luxembourg or at the latest within 30 days after the removal to the Disputes Committee in Luxembourg.
6.5 In principle, the tenant remains obliged to pay the agreed amount (articles 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4) to camping Val d'Or.
- Afval
7.1 You must separate your waste and deposit it in the designated containers.
7.2 It is forbidden to deposit anything other than household waste in our containers or the waste street. If this rule is violated, the person who wishes to deposit the object(s) at val d'or campsite will be charged a fee for the disposal of the object(s).
8. Pets
8.1 Pets are allowed (max 2) but provided they are kept on a leash and
accompanied outside camping Val d'Or for their needs.
8.2 At the entrance of camping Val d'Or there is a pole with poop bags that you can use and a waste bin for the used poop bags. Needs must be cleaned up and deposited in the waste bin provided for this purpose. Dogs of the Pitbull/ Doberman and Rottweiler breed must wear a muzzle.
- Excess
9.1 Tenants of an accommodation or camping pitch and visitors come to our premises at their own risk. We do not hold ourselves liable in any way for damage and/or accidents caused by third parties. By entering the site, tenants and visitors expressly waive any right to compensation.
9.2. We cannot be held responsible for unforeseen events, force majeure, natural disasters or legal decisions that disrupt, interrupt or prevent your stay and the entertainment at camping Val d'Or.
10. Damage
10.1 Damage must be reported immediately to the reception, both damage to the rented
accommodation and / or means thereof, or on the grounds of camping Val d'Or. Damage costs and any consequential costs will be charged to the person who caused the damage.
11. Collection costs
11.1 The extrajudicial costs reasonably incurred by the owner after a
notice of default shall be borne by the tenant. If the total amount has not been paid on time, the legally determined interest rate on the remaining part may be charged after written summons.
12. Applicable law
12.1 These General Terms and Conditions are governed by Luxembourg law and in the event of a lawsuit concerning these General Terms and Conditions or in relation to this website, the Luxembourg courts shall have legal capacity.
