Recreation
Camp site Val d’Or is a most child-friendly camp site. Our recreational facilities for children of all ages include: a sandbox; playground with trampoline; aquatic playground; ping pong table; volleyball and soccer field; a group swing set. Our playgrounds are set on both sides of the river, which in itself is another source of fun for all ages.
During the May and summer holiday we offer professional children’s entertainment every weekday. These activities range from age-specific activities to family activities for all ages.
During the May and summer holiday we also feature weekly gatherings every Sunday at the field next to the camp site. Every Sunday evening there is a Sing-inn for music lovers and song enthusiasts.
Meet Elle, Izzi and Otto!
During the May and summer holiday we present you a children’s animation team, featuring a new theme every week by the hosts Elle, Izzi and Otto. They organize a creative or sporting activity every weekday, whether there be sunshine or rain. When the children’s ages vary greatly, they are adept at making teams suited to every age group for playing sports such as soccer, volleyball, ping pong and aquatic games. In the evening we organize additional family activities such as volleyball competitions, a communal camp fire, an exciting game show and workshops like Handlettering. Our animation team consists of professionals and children are free to enjoy activities as they (or you) see fit.
