About us...
We are Dirkjan and Liesbeth van Berkum. We met each other through our employment at Landal Greenparks and Beter-Uit travel agency, have married in 2015 and were gifted with a beautiful daughter in 2017. In 2018 we gained the opportunity to take over management from the Van Donk family, a challenge we happily embraced.
Liesbeth’s experience ranges from facility management to catering and she excels in arranging the practical matters in and around Val d’Or. With five languages under her belt she is an ideal hostess and you will be greeted every morning by her warming presence.
Dirkjan has built an impressive resume as manager for Landal Greenparks and the Beter-Uit holiday parks in central France. Diligence and skillfulness in the face of any challenge characterize his handling of the camp site’s daily affairs, and he is out and about from dawn till dusk to care for your every need. Before we took of on the adventure that is Val d’Or, we managed a Beter-Uit holiday park in Luxembourg. We took care of this park year round and enjoyed it to such extent that we decided to live and work in Luxembourg. Our personal history and our work experience enabled this move and we are immensely grateful for all the support and trust that the Van Donk family has placed in us to continue their life’s work!
