About us

We are Dirkjan and Liesbeth van Berkum. We got married in 2015 and then emigrated to the beautiful north of Luxembourg. In fact, before the adventure at camping Val d'Or began, we first worked together for Beter-uit vacation park Walsdorf in Luxembourg. There we worked for 3 years as campsite managers. We liked it so much that we decided to continue living and working in Luxembourg. With our years of experience at Landal Greenparks and Beter-uit in the Netherlands, Luxembourg and France, it was a nice step for us to move to Luxembourg.

About Liesbeth

With her education in Facility Management, Liesbeth has a vast knowledge for organizing many practical matters. Because she speaks 5 languages, she is the ideal hostess on our campsite. Her spontaneous smile meets you as a guest every morning!

About Dirkjan

Dirkjan has built a fine history in the Netherlands by working as a manager at Landal Greenparks Heideheuvel and at the Beter-uit vacation park La Draille in France. With his years of experience and great perseverance, he is available every day from morning to evening for all ongoing matters at the campsite. He is also always up for a chat in between!
