The campsite is located in the northern Eislek region of Luxembourg. This region is renown for its beautiful hills and valleys. The springtime awakens a lively green landscape, then to be adorned with the sweet and fragrant summer's breeze, and slowly turning its beauty to a splendor of red, gold and brown in the autumn. This region of Luxembourg is an excellent choice for trekking, biking, mountainbiking and motorbiking. You can follow several trekking and mountain biking routes directly from the campsite. The exquisite swimming pool of Aqua Nat'Our in Hosingen is child friendly and located only 8 miles away.

The region also features picturesque cities and villages, and a visit to Luxembourg city is a must as the Wilwerwiltz trainstation is only 1 mile away. You can visit the city in a day or less. Travel by public transport is quite cost effective and passengers under twenty years of age even travel free of charge. As per mid 2020 all of Luxembourg's transportation will be free of charge for all passengers. You are also allowed to bring your bike or pets along, easing the opportunity for a trekking or biking trip in the middle and southern parts of Luxembourg.

Camping and rentals

Our camping offers a great variety of accommodations, ranging from holiday homes, 4-6 and 8 person mobile homes, chalets, eco-lodges, and a full size apartment to trekking cabins and safari tents for a more outdoors ambiance.

Our camp site is divided in two by the charming river Le Clerve, a slowly bubbling and rippling river with tent pitches and accommodations on either side. All tent pitches average 100 square meters, come equipped with 6 ampere of electric power and have a car-free policy. We also feature four secure beddings for camper vans and your own mobile homes, located especially near the entrance to suit a quick stop-over or short stay.

Open all year round

Camp site Val d’Or is open all year round. Each season offers it’s particular charm, such as the springtime with her first leaves adorning the hillside trees. Or how about late autumn, with the valley aglow in shades of gold, bordeaux red and hints of purple. Even the winter months will endear Val d’Or to your heart, for as the snow clads the landscape, Christmas fairs and special events pop up like snowdrops. Any time of year is suited to hiking and trekking the surround landscape, whether your family takes to adventure or you take a cozy couples’ hike. Around dusk and dawn, much of the local wildlife comes out to feed and scavenge the fields, just waiting to be spotted. Or combine your walk with a trip to the indoor swimming pool and luxury spa of Aqua Nat’Our, a mere 8 miles away and open all year round.
