Relax on our quiet and cozy family campsite
By far the most available option for your holiday is pitching your own tent on one of our 65 tent pitches. These car-free pitches are strewn across our open fields and along the river, each averaging 100 square meters total.
The car-free policy of Val d’Or guarantees the peace and quiet, as well as a child-friendly environment, which is essential to a worry-free holiday for you and your family. You are of course allowed to bring and collect your camping equipment on your days of arrival and departure.
Many options on our campsite
The pitch fields are characterized by a playful outlook, lovely green grass and an arrangement of high hedges, easing the opportunity for you to relax and meet fellow campers. After all, camping out is a shared joy! The Clerve river divides the pitch fields in two, offering water play and a natural ambiance to your family. Roughly 15 of the 65 pitches lie directly adjecent to the river, the other pitches being divided across smaller patches of 4 to 6 pitches. Our modern sanitary facilities are located at the main building, and the disposal unit for your chemical toilet is located near Pitch 37B.

Car-free
All tent pitching fields are designated car-free areas, a safeguard measure to guarantee your peace and quiet. Upon arrival and departure, you are allowed to park your car at your pitch to (un)load your camping equipment and baggage. At any other time you may park your car at the camp site’s private parking lot and at the parking spaces along the main road.
