In this park 10 km from the campsite, with both indoor and outdoor activities, children can discover in a fun and playful way how our senses work. There is an interactive museum where both young and old can learn all about how the senses work. Outside, children can have fun in a maze, a large playground, a multi-sport field, a barefoot path and the “Garden of Tastes. There is also a cable car and the opportunity to blow off steam on the Airtramp, a large air cushion. For parents, there is a cozy bistro.

The nature center Robbescheier, 6 km from the campsite in Munshausen, is a great place where children of all ages can learn more about nature and crafts in a fun way. This open-air museum offers a variety of workshops, such as wax candle making, wood sawing, ceramics, a carriage ride, baking in an old furnace and donkey riding. There is also a playground, a large vegetable garden and a mini farm. For parents, there is a restaurant and outdoor terrace.

10 km from the campsite, in Eschweiler, this indoor recreation center with playground and miniature golf course is the ideal base for a rainy day, for both young and old. This indoor play paradise has a fun indoor playground with a special section for the smallest children and another section with slides, trampolines, ramps and tunnels for older children. There is also an indoor mini golf course with artificial grass and 15 lanes where the whole family can have fun.

A 1-hour drive from the campsite in Bettembourg in southern Luxembourg is the fun and fairy park Park Merveilleux. A visit to this park guarantees an adventurous, fun and educational day. There is a fairytale forest, a zoo with tropical houses and a petting zoo, an 18-lane miniature golf course, a playground with fun attractions such as the water playground and a ride on the miniature train or minicars. 

15 km from the campsite is Aqua Nat'Our in Hosingen, the most child-friendly pool in the area. The pool has indoor pools and a small outdoor pool for the summer months. It is a clear and beautiful pool, including a competition pool, water slide and springboard, hot and cold water pools, a children's pool and a steam bath.

At 18 km from the campsite, in the Our Nature Park in Hoscheid, a fun 6 km musical hike begins through beautiful surroundings. During the hike, children can make music interactively with different instruments, thanks to the listening points and sound sculptures along the route. These invite to listen, make music and fully enjoy the landscape.

For a fun, active afternoon 15 kilometers from the campsite in the forest, there is a fun hike for children at Parc Hosingen. On this 3 km adventure trail, children can walk and play in nature in an educational and fun way, with 9 stopping points where children can practice skills and romp around. Along the way, the route is marked by Robi, the cheerful forest gnome.

In the nearby town of Clervaux 9 km from the campsite you will find several hiking trails ideal for a family walk, ranging from 3 to 9 kilometers. For example, there is a 3 kilometer educational route that takes you past various sights and stations. Another route is specially designed for walks with a stroller, and runs along the town center, the river Clerve and through the beautiful valley.

For a refreshing dip in nature and water sports fun, visit the village of Weiswampach, 20 km from the campsite. Here you will find a beautifully landscaped recreational lake with a large sunbathing area, ideal for families with children. Besides swimming, you can also rent pedal boats and life jackets are available for extra safety. You can also swim in the swimming lake near Esch-sur-Sûre, also 20 km from the campsite. This lake is not only Luxembourg's largest drinking water reservoir, but also offers several beaches where you can enjoy recreation and swimming.

For families seeking adventure, Luxembourg offers plenty of castles, caves and mines to explore, often with audio guides. Vianden Castle is one of the most beautiful and best-preserved castles in the country and definitely recommended for a family visit. The castles of Bourscheid, with a playground nearby, and Beaufort are also wonderful locations to explore with children. There are also several fun places for children to explore mines, such as the Musée National des Mines de Fer in Ettelbruck, the Mierscherbierg-Voie des Mines in Mersch and the Minett Park in Differdange. Here children can participate in guided tours, treasure hunts and interactive exhibits.
